About the iPhone 16
The iPhone 16 launched in September 2024 with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, the A18 chip, and an aluminum frame with Ceramic Shield glass on both the front and back. It was the first non-Pro iPhone with Dynamic Island and the new Camera Control button — a dedicated physical button for launching the camera and adjusting settings without touching the screen. It does not cover new impact damage, water damage, or OLED panel issues like the display going black, lines appearing, or blotches showing up — even if the glass itself looks fine, since panel failures like that can happen without a new drop.
Does repairing my iPhone 16 void the Apple warranty or affect software updates?
