What "Comes to You" Means at Our Shop
We run four physical repair shops in Watertown, Newton, Burlington, and Wakefield. On-site service is the same work done somewhere else. A technician from the closest store drives to your address with the replacement part for your device, parks outside, does the repair in our van or car, and tests it with you before you pay.
Same parts, same procedure, same warranty as the counter. The only difference is who drives. That's why the price is the same as in-store, and why the only extra is a $69 minimum for small jobs. If your repair already costs more than $69, the visit costs nothing extra.
People search for this a lot of ways: mobile phone repair, on-site phone repair, iPhone repair at home, "phone repair near me that comes to you." It's all the same service. We drive to you and fix the phone or iPad screen right outside.
Do I have to let a repair tech into my home?
No. We never come inside. The repair happens in our service vehicle, parked at your curb, in your driveway, or outside your office. You hand over the device outside, and you can stand at the van and watch the whole repair if you want. You don't pay until you've tested it yourself.
You can also check who we are before you book. Every visit comes from one of our four storefronts, and you can walk into any of them. The addresses are on this page and on our Google profiles.
You also get a receipt, and that receipt is your warranty at any of our stores. If a screen develops ghost clicking six months later, you're not tracking down a stranger from an online listing. You walk into a shop with our name on the door.
Three Checks Before You Book
Some of our on-site visits end in under five minutes because nothing was broken. The $69 minimum still applies, since we drove out and did the diagnostic. These checks can save you that:
1. Look closely at the crack. Glass screen protectors crack in the same spider-web pattern as a real display. Lift a corner of the protector with a fingernail. If the screen underneath is clean, you need a new protector, not a screen repair.
2. Swap the cable and the charger. A phone that "stopped charging" often has a frayed cable or a dying wall block. Try a different cable and a different outlet before you assume the port is gone.
3. Force restart a "dead" phone. On a recent iPhone: press and release Volume Up, press and release Volume Down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo shows. If a phone was frozen, this often brings it back. A phone that died overnight may just need 30 minutes on a known-good charger.
If none of those work, call (857) 302-2655 and tell us what you see. We'd rather talk you through a fix on the phone than send someone out for nothing.
When On-Site Is the Wrong Call
We'll tell you no on the booking call before we'll show up and waste your time. These need a store.
Water damage. The damage that matters is corrosion, and it keeps spreading for days after the phone gets wet. Fixing it means taking the phone down to the bare board and cleaning it in an ultrasonic tank. That equipment doesn't travel. Bring a wet phone to a store as soon as you can. Don't wait for an appointment.
Phones that won't power on at all. Sometimes it's a dead battery or a bad port, which we can handle on-site. Sometimes it's a board-level fault that needs our microsoldering bench at Watertown or Wakefield. Our diagnostic tells us which. If it's the board, the phone goes to the shop.
Anything beyond phones and iPad screens. iPad batteries and charging ports, MacBooks, laptops, consoles, and Apple Watch are in-store repairs.
On-Site or Walk-In: How to Decide
If you live within about 15 minutes of a store and have an hour free, walk in. There's no minimum, the diagnostic is free, and an iPhone screen takes 20 to 30 minutes while you wait. We tell callers this directly.
On-site makes sense when getting to a store isn't realistic. You're stuck at work. You're home with a napping toddler. You live in a Boston neighborhood without a car, and a ride to the shop and back would cost close to the visit anyway. Or you've been putting off a cracked screen for weeks because you "never have time to get to the shop." One phone call fixes that.
How We Pick Which Store Comes to You
The rule is roughly a one-hour drive from any of our stores. In practice, we send whoever is closest. Cambridge, Somerville, and most of Boston usually come from Watertown. Brookline and the Route 9 towns come from Newton. Lexington, Woburn, and Bedford come from Burlington. Medford, Malden, Melrose, and Stoneham come from Wakefield.
When you call, have three things ready: your exact device model (iPhone and iPad: Settings → General → About; Samsung: Settings → About phone), your address, and where we can park (driveway, street, or a lot near your office). The model matters most. We load the part for the device you book, so if we show up expecting an iPhone 14 and it's an iPhone 13, the repair may have to wait.

Tell us your phone or iPad model and what's wrong. We confirm coverage, quote the repair, and book an arrival window.
