Questions about our locations

Which Fix 'N Repair store should I go to?

Go to the one closest to you. All four stores take walk-ins for everyday phone, tablet and laptop repairs, and all four are open 7 days, 10am to 8pm. The one exception is board-level work: if your device needs microsoldering, Watertown and Wakefield do it in-house, while Newton and Burlington take the device in and bring it to one of those shops. Not sure which applies to you? Call (857) 302-2655 and we'll tell you before you drive anywhere.

Which stores do microsoldering and board-level repair?

Watertown (7 Main St) and Wakefield (18 Albion St) have the microsoldering benches, so logic board and other board-level repairs happen there. You can still drop a device at Newton or Burlington — we check it in at the counter and transport it to Watertown or Wakefield for the board work. If you are closer to either board-level shop, going there directly skips the transfer step.

Are your stores open on Sunday?

Yes. As of October 2026, all four stores — Watertown, Wakefield, Newton and Burlington — are open Monday through Sunday, 10am to 8pm. Walk in any day without an appointment. If you would rather we come to you, our mobile service also runs within about an hour of any store. Call (857) 302-2655 if you want to check that a part is in stock before you come in.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome at every store and served first come, first served. An iPhone screen replacement usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, so most people wait in the shop. You can also book online if you want a set time. For iPads, same-day repair is reliable when the part is in stock; for other tablets it depends on whether we have the part on hand, so a quick call first saves a trip.

Can you come to me instead of me coming to a store?

Yes. Our mobile technician drives to you anywhere within about an hour of one of our four stores and does the repair on the spot, inside the van. You pay the normal repair price; there is a $69 minimum charge, which only applies if the job has no higher fixed price. Note that the free diagnostic is for in-store visits only — it does not apply to mobile service.

Is the diagnostic free, and how can I pay?

Diagnostics are free when you bring the device into any of our four stores — we tell you what is wrong and the price before any work starts, with no obligation. For payment we accept Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. We do not take American Express or checks. A 3% convenience fee applies to all card payments, including Apple Pay. Keep your text or email receipt — it is what you need for any warranty claim.
