About the Galaxy S23+
The S23+ sits between the base S23 and the Ultra — a bigger 6.6-inch flat display and a larger 4,700 mAh battery than the standard S23, without the curved glass or S Pen of the Ultra. It's the size a lot of people actually want day to day.
Because the screen is flat rather than curved, the install is more straightforward than an Ultra repair, and we keep both Incell and OLED grade panels on hand for this model.

- Back glassYes

- Water damage / data recoveryYes

How a Repair Visit Works
Four steps, start to finish, from your first message to a working phone.
Text a photo, fill out the form, or call your nearest shop directly. We start figuring out the cause right away.
We test the phone before committing to a diagnosis, in-store or in the mobile van.
You get the exact number and part grade in writing before we open anything. That price doesn't move.
Most jobs finish in 20-30 minutes. Board-level work or water damage takes longer, and we'll give you a realistic timeframe upfront.
A Few Things Before You Come In
A short list that keeps the visit moving.
- Take off the case and any screen protector before you come in
- Bring the charger along if a charging issue is what brought you in
- Mention any other issues you've noticed — often worth fixing in one trip
- If it went in water, leave it off, skip the charger, and bring it in fast
Galaxy S-Series Repair Pricing
These are our general Galaxy S-series starting prices, a useful reference — not a locked-in S23+ number. We confirm your S23+ price once we've looked at the phone, since it comes down to the screen grade you choose. Request a quote below and get the exact figure before any work starts.
The Repairs We See Most on the Galaxy S23+
Four jobs that cover most of what comes through the door on this model. Request a quote and we'll price your exact repair.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Screen Repair
Cracked glass, a display that's stopped responding to touch, or dead pixels — the flat panel assembly gets swapped in Incell, OLED, or Premium/OEM grade, typically under 30 minutes.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Battery Replacement
The 4,700 mAh cell in this phone has now put in a few years of daily charging for most owners. Fresh battery, usually a same-day job.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Charging Port Repair
Cable feels loose, or it only charges from a specific angle. We clean it out first and only quote a full port swap if that doesn't fix it.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Back Glass Replacement
A cracked back panel gets swapped and properly resealed, with the triple-camera housing set back exactly where it belongs. Nothing on the phone gets wiped.

Battery, or Something Else?
A few years in, it's not always obvious whether the battery's actually the problem. Three checks before you book a swap.
Settings > Battery. Look for a degraded-capacity flag. A recent One UI update can also cause a temporary drain spike that settles within a few days.
If drain started right after an update, turn it on and give it 24-48 hours. Software-related drain usually improves; a worn battery doesn't.
Shutting down well above 20%, heating up on light use, or a visibly puffed back panel are hardware signs — that's when a replacement is the actual fix.
Not sure which one it is? Get a free diagnostic and we'll tell you straight.
What Galaxy S23+ Owners Bring Up
A few things we hear about often on this model — helpful to know before assuming it's a repair issue.
Noticeable battery fade a few years in
Lithium-ion batteries lose real capacity over hundreds of charge cycles, and this phone is old enough now for that wear to show up for heavy users. That's expected aging, not a defect, and it's the most common repair we do on this model at this point in its life.
Wireless charging slower than the S22 generation
This model dropped to 10W wireless charging, down from 15W on the previous S22+. If wireless charging feels slow, that's the spec, not a fault — wired 45W charging is still the fast option.
No S Pen support on this model
Unlike the S23 Ultra, the S23+ doesn't have a built-in S Pen slot or digitizer support. A generic capacitive stylus will work like a finger tap, but Samsung's S Pen features aren't available on this device.
Water resistance weakens with age
The S23+ shipped with an IP68 rating, but seals degrade with time, drops, and any prior repairs. A phone this age shouldn't be treated as fully water-resistant anymore.

Galaxy S23+ Repair FAQ
The questions we hear most often about this model.
How much does a Galaxy S23+ screen repair cost?
Our general Galaxy S-series screen repair starts at $129 as a rough reference. Your exact S23+ price depends on which grade you choose — Incell, OLED, or Premium/OEM. Fill out the quote form above, text a photo, or call (857) 302-2655 and we'll confirm the exact number for your phone.
Do you keep Galaxy S23+ parts in stock?
Yes — screens, batteries, charging ports, and back glass are all stocked at our shops. This model's popular enough that parts are easy for us to source.
Does the Galaxy S23+ support an S Pen?
No. S Pen digitizer support is exclusive to the S23 Ultra in this generation. A basic capacitive stylus will work on the S23+ the same way a finger does, but Samsung's pressure-sensitive S Pen features aren't available on this model.
Is it worth repairing a Galaxy S23+ instead of upgrading?
For most damage — a cracked screen, a worn battery, a flaky charging port — yes. A repair typically runs a fraction of the phone's used value and gets you a same-day working phone. We'll be upfront if we see damage severe enough that a replacement makes more sense.
Does a screen replacement erase anything on my phone?
No. Swapping the screen doesn't touch your storage or software, so a backup isn't required for this specific repair. Keeping a general backup is still smart practice for any device.
What warranty comes with a Galaxy S23+ repair?
Screen repairs carry a lifetime warranty covering touch sensitivity, ghost clicking, random clicking, and screen lifting — the same scope as our iPhone screen warranty. It doesn't cover LCD/OLED panel issues (screen going black, lines, black marks), impact damage from a new drop, water damage, or customer-supplied parts. All other Samsung repairs — battery, charging port, back glass, board-level — carry our standard 90-day warranty. Hang onto your text or email receipt for any claim.

Galaxy S23+ Repair — The Full Picture
A closer look at pricing, timelines, and what actually goes wrong on this model as it ages.
Our general Galaxy S-series screen repair starts at $129, a decent starting point for the S23+ too. The confirmed price comes down to which grade you choose. Text a photo of the crack or fill out the form above rather than going off a number you saw somewhere else.
Nine times out of ten it's lint buildup in the port, not a hardware failure. We clean it first at no charge and only quote a full replacement if that doesn't fix it. Wireless charging on this model tops out at 10W, so if that feels slow, that's the spec, not a fault.
Screen, battery, charging port, and back glass are all same-day, whether that's at one of our four Massachusetts shops or on-site in the mobile van — same price either way.
The S23+ shipped with a 4,700 mAh battery, larger than the base S23's. After a few years of daily charge cycles, real-world capacity has usually dropped noticeably from day one. That's normal lithium-ion wear, not a defect, and it's the single most common repair we do on this model at this point in its life.
We hear "aftermarket vs. OEM Samsung screen" a lot at the counter on this model. Short version: the LCD panel behind the glass is what actually changes between grades, not the glass itself. Aftermarket panels run a touch smaller than genuine OEM, with color and contrast that's mostly noticeable side by side. Given the phone's age, most owners go with the lower-cost Incell or aftermarket OLED option rather than paying OEM prices — we'll walk you through both before you decide.
If you're searching "Galaxy S23+ battery draining fast" or "S23+ won't hold a charge," start with Settings > Battery for a degraded-capacity warning before assuming the worst. A phone shutting off well above 20% remaining, running hot during light use, or showing a slightly puffed back panel almost always points to the battery, not the software.
That IP68 rating reflected the phone as it left the factory in early 2023, not a lasting guarantee three-plus years later. Seals wear down with age, drops, and any prior repairs. If your S23+ went in water, cut the power immediately, skip the charger, and get it to us fast. Water damage isn't covered under standard warranty and gets quoted separately once we've opened the phone.
For screen cracks, worn batteries, and charging port issues, repair almost always wins on cost and turnaround. Where replacement starts to make sense is heavy board-level damage from a bad drop or serious water exposure — that's the one scenario where we'll tell you honestly if a repair isn't the better call.
After the Repair — Making It Last
A few habits that help a repaired phone go the distance.
A tempered glass layer soaks up everyday scuffs and small drops so your new screen doesn't take the first hit directly.
After a battery swap, letting the phone hit 100% on its first charge helps the battery gauge calibrate correctly going forward.
Text and email receipts both count for warranty claims — save yours somewhere you'll actually be able to find later.
